Green Policy
Operating to reduce our environmental impact
At Formkraft we see our commitment to reducing our impact on the environment as a key area of our corporate social responsibility. From increasing recycling programmes to reducing fuel usage and sourcing green products we are constantly looking for new ways to improve.
Our environmental programmes have been in place for a number of years and we continually review and seek to improve our performance in this area.
Our key areas of focus are:
- Increasing waste for recycling and reducing waste to landfill;
- At Formkraft we have recycling points in our kitchen for all members of the team to use.
- Each photocopier has a recycling bin for paper next to it which we shred and use ourselves in our packaging.
- Reduction of the use of resources
- We aim to ensure that we are keeping our use of energy resources to a minimum. This includes switching off all lights and computers off when not in use.
- Environmentally friendly products.
- One of our key values is innovation and we are always looking for the next Smart product.
- We are able to supply our clients with a range of eco-friendly products which fit with their needs including a wide range of eco-friendly bags printed with eco-friendly ink sourced from fair trade factories.
- Reduction of fuel used for transportation;
- We aim to make the most of every journey and reduce our fuel consumption and carbon footprint.
